- Comparison with 3-Door Thar: While both the Roxx and the 3-door Thar have a rugged design, the Roxx introduces a more modern design with a six-slot grille and additional features. The Roxx also has an extended wheelbase and new 19-inch alloy wheels.
- Dimensions: The Thar Roxx is larger than the 3-door Thar, measuring 4428 mm in length, 1870 mm in width, and 1923 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2860 mm. This makes it 443 mm longer with an extra 400 mm wheelbase, providing more interior space, including a 644-litre boot.
- Feature Upgrades: The Thar Roxx is packed with advanced features like a 10.25-inch touchscreen, LED DRLs, Level 2 ADAS, 360-degree camera, ventilated seats, panoramic sunroof, and a 9-speaker Harman/Kardon sound system, making it a tech-savvy SUV.
- Engine Options: The Thar Roxx offers turbo-petrol and diesel engine options, both in a higher state of tune compared to the 3-door Thar. The petrol engine delivers up to 177 PS, while the diesel engine offers up to 175 PS, both paired with either a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission.
- Performance Variants: The petrol and diesel engines of the Roxx offer more power and torque compared to the standard Thar, making it a more capable vehicle, especially in the 4x4 variants which have enhanced performance for off-road driving.
- Standard Thar Comparison: The standard Thar, available in both RWD and 4x4 variants, offers smaller engine options with less power, making the Roxx a more powerful and feature-rich alternative for buyers seeking more from their SUV.
- Market Positioning and Appeal: The Thar Roxx is positioned as a more premium and versatile option within the Thar lineup, targeting customers who need additional space and features for both urban and off-road adventures. With its larger dimensions, enhanced features, and powerful engines, the Roxx aims to attract a broader audience, including families and adventure enthusiasts.
